The PMCA is pleased to present an exhibition of the images of David Scharf, a pioneering scientist and EMMY-winning photographer in the field of scanning electron microscopy for the last 30 years. Once called the “Ansel Adams of inner space” by Time magazine, Scharf’s intriguing photographs provide a closer look at everyday materials on a microscopic level, revealing the hidden nature of pollen, crystals, insects and more.
