On the occasion of his 100th birthday, the PMCA is proud to present this
limited-engagement exhibition of highlights from the venerable career of
Milford Zornes. From his contributions as an art teacher, to his pivotal
role in the California Scene movement, Zornes has done more for California
art than any other living artist. While his travels have led him to paint
many faraway places, his bold, clear California landscapes will always be
inseparable from his identity as an artist.
This exhibition is made possible with support from the National Watercolor
Society, the Mid-Valley Arts League, Inc., Watercolor West, the South Bay
Watercolor Society, the Anderson Art Gallery and John Moran Auctioneers.
